Interior Demolition
Nassau is built out, so nearly every job here is a renovation inside a house or storefront that's staying put. We gut, open up, and strip out interiors from the South Shore to the North Shore, with a foreman running every job and the debris leaving in a trailer that won't mark your driveway.

Call NowDemolition for Homes Getting a Second Life
Most of Nassau's housing went up in a few big waves: the post-war capes and ranches of Levittown and Hicksville, the split-levels and high-ranches that followed, and older colonials and Tudors in Garden City, Manhasset, and the North Shore villages. Hardly anyone is tearing those houses down. They're opening up kitchens, finishing basements, adding a second floor, or gutting the whole interior and starting over inside the same footprint.
That's interior demolition, and it's what we do. On a typical Nassau lot the house sits close to the neighbors, the driveway is the only place to stage, and the family is often living upstairs while we work downstairs. We plan for all of that up front: protection and dust barriers before anything comes out, a driveway-safe dump trailer instead of a roll-off, and a crew that loads as it goes so nothing piles up on the lawn.
We've worked in this building stock for over 30 years from our shop in Deer Park, and a competent foreman runs every job from the walk-through to the broom-clean handoff.
What Nassau Demolition Usually Looks Like
Same county, very different houses. Here's what we plan around.
Post-War Capes & Ranches
Levittown-era houses have been renovated many times over. Expect layers: newer drywall over old, floors laid over floors, and wiring and plumbing left behind from past jobs. We open them up carefully and flag what we find before it turns into a surprise.
Older North Shore Homes
Colonials, Tudors, and older homes in places like Manhasset, Great Neck, and Glen Cove often have plaster walls, heavier framing, and finishes worth keeping. That's a job for selective demolition: we take out what's coming out and protect the millwork, stairs, and floors that stay.
Tight Lots, One Driveway
Houses sit close together and street parking is limited, so staging matters. Our dump trailers sit on the driveway without cracking or staining it and take up less room than a roll-off, and the crew loads them as the tear-out happens.
Towns, Cities & Villages
Nassau has three towns (Hempstead, North Hempstead, and Oyster Bay), two cities (Glen Cove and Long Beach), and dozens of incorporated villages, many with their own building department. Where a permit applies, your GC or design team usually pulls it and we work under it. Not sure what you need? Ask us at the walk-through.

Nassau County Demolition FAQs
Do you work in every part of Nassau County?
Yes. We cover the whole county, from Long Beach and Freeport on the South Shore to Great Neck, Manhasset, and Glen Cove on the North Shore, and everything in between, including Hempstead, Garden City, Mineola, and Hicksville.
Can you demo one floor while we're still living in the house?
Often, yes. We seal off the work area with dust barriers, protect the floors and stairs we walk through, and schedule around your household. If a project is better done with the house empty, the foreman will tell you at the walk-through.
Will a dump trailer fit at my house?
Usually. Our trailers take up less room than a roll-off and are designed to sit on a driveway without damaging it. We check the driveway and access during the estimate and plan where the trailer goes before the job starts.
