The Hamptons & East End
Interior Demolition
Out east, timing is everything. Most renovation work happens between Labor Day and Memorial Day so the house is ready for summer, and some villages limit construction during the season. We bring the crew, equipment, and trailers from Deer Park and plan the demolition to fit the window you have.
Demolition on the East End Calendar
From Westhampton to Montauk on the South Fork, and from Riverhead out through the North Fork, the East End has its own kind of building: second homes and estates, beach cottages being updated, historic village homes, and restaurants and shops that renovate in the off-season. Many owners aren't on site, and the deadline doesn't move: the house has to be done by summer.
That's where a foreman on every job matters most. One accountable person walks the scope with you or your builder, runs the crew, answers the phone, and makes sure the house is protected and the work stays on schedule, whether you're there or not.
We handle full interior gut-outs, selective demolition around finishes worth keeping, kitchen and bath tear-outs, and commercial strip-outs for off-season renovations. Debris leaves in driveway-safe trailers that won't crack, gouge, or stain the driveway, or through licensed carters on larger and commercial jobs.
What Makes East End Work Different
Seasonal deadlines, owners who are often away, and finishes that have to survive the renovation.
The Off-Season Window
Fall through spring is when the work gets done. We schedule the demolition early in that window so framing, mechanicals, and finishes have time to follow before summer.
Owners Who Are Away
Many East End homes are second homes. With a foreman on every job, you have one person who knows the scope, runs the crew, and picks up the phone, so you don't have to be there to know it's going right.
High-End Finishes
Estate homes often have custom millwork, stone, and flooring that stay through a renovation. We protect them first and demolish around them carefully.
Town & Village Rules
Southampton, East Hampton, Riverhead, Southold, and Shelter Island each have their own building department, and villages like Sag Harbor, Westhampton Beach, and East Hampton add their own rules, including summer limits on construction in some places. We confirm the local rules before we schedule.

East End Demolition FAQs
Do you really come all the way out east from Deer Park?
Yes. We serve the whole East End, including Southampton, East Hampton, Montauk, Riverhead, and the North Fork, and we plan crews, equipment, and trailers so the distance doesn't slow the job down.
Can the work go ahead while I'm not there?
Yes. Plenty of East End owners are away during the off-season. The foreman is your single point of contact, and we can coordinate access through you, your builder, or your property manager.
When should I book demolition for a summer-ready renovation?
As early as you can. Demolition is the first phase, and everything after it depends on it finishing on time. Booking in late summer or early fall gives the rest of the project the most room before Memorial Day.
