The Demo Crew
Long Island Trusts
Anyone can knock down a wall. Doing it cleanly, on schedule, without damaging what stays, and leaving a site that's genuinely ready for the next trade is a different skill — and it's the only thing we do. Here's why GCs and homeowners keep calling us back, plus straight answers to the questions we hear most.
Why GCs and Homeowners Keep Calling Us Back
Anyone can knock down a wall. Doing it cleanly, on schedule, without damaging what stays, and leaving a site that's actually ready for the next trade — that's a different skill, and it's the only thing we do. After 30+ years of interior demolition across Long Island and NYC, here's what sets our crews apart.
A Foreman On Every Job
Every single job is run by a competent foreman on site, start to finish. One accountable person who knows the scope, runs the crew, and answers the phone — never a crew dropped off and left alone.
Clean Sites, Protected Structure
Floor pads, wall protection, and dust barriers go up first. We take out what goes and protect what stays — and hand back a broom-clean space, not a mess for someone else to deal with.
The GC's First Trade
General contractors rely on us to set the tone for the whole project. We hit the schedule, keep the scope tight, and leave a clean slate so framing, plumbing, and electrical can start without delay.
On Time, On Budget
We quote it straight and we hit it. Demolition is the first phase — when it slips, everything slips. We protect your timeline by getting in, getting it done, and getting out on schedule.
Licensed & Insured
Fully licensed and insured on every job, residential or commercial. Certificates of insurance for your building or GC on request — no scrambling, no exposure.
30+ Years On Long Island
Three decades of interior demolition in Long Island and NYC building stock. We've seen what's behind the walls before — old framing, surprise conditions, tight access — and we plan for it.
Demolition FAQs
Straight answers to what homeowners and general contractors ask us most.
Are estimates really free?
Yes — every estimate is free and no-obligation. We walk the space, confirm exactly what comes out and what stays, and give you a clear, itemized quote, usually within one business day. No pressure, no hidden line items.
Will there really be a foreman on my job?
Always. A competent foreman runs every single job from start to finish — walking the scope, setting up protection, directing the crew, and being the one accountable person you can reach. We never drop a crew off and leave them unsupervised.
Do you work directly with general contractors?
Constantly — GCs are a big part of our business. We're built to be your reliable first trade: tight scopes, COIs on request, schedules we actually hit, and a broom-clean handoff so your next trades start without delay. Ask us about setting up a trade account.
What's the difference between selective demo and a full gut?
Selective (or surgical) demolition removes specific walls or assemblies while everything else stays intact — ideal when you're opening up a floor plan or working around occupied space. A full gut strips the interior back to clean framing. We plan the sequence either way to protect the structure.
Do you handle the debris and cleanup?
Yes — one crew does the tear-out and the haul-away. We containerize and dispose through licensed carters, recycle where we can, and leave the space broom-clean. There's no second vendor for you to coordinate or chase.
Can you demo in an occupied building?
Yes, with the right planning. We regularly work with adjacent floors or units occupied — using dust barriers, careful scheduling, and a sequence that doesn't disturb the spaces around the work. We plan around occupancy from the start, not mid-job.
